For more than 20 years, MediService has been delivering medicines to people's homes conveniently, discreetly and cost-efficiently. As Switzerland's first specialty pharmacy, we specialize in serving people with chronic diseases. You send us the original prescription by mail - then you order online, by phone or in writing, just as you wish. MediService is an authorized Swiss pharmacy with a mail-order pharmacy permit.

Submit prescriptions

As a public pharmacy, MediService delivers medications for which a valid original prescription is available. The prescription must be issued by a doctor licensed in Switzerland. MediService also requires a valid prescription for non-prescription medications.

How does the prescription get to MediService?

By the patient:

The patient sends the prescription by mail in a prepaid envelope to MediService after the doctor's visit.

By the doctor's office:

The doctor's office can also send the prescription directly to the specialty pharmacy MediService. The following variants are available:

Simply fax the prescription to the toll-free number 0800 811 844. As a service, MediService offers you special prescription templates.

Patients who are particularly at risk for sustained therapeutic success are those who

• with depression, Alzheimer's disease or dependence on narcotics
• in unstable living conditions such as unemployment and poverty
• with symptoms of illness that have an impact on their professional activities
• who have already undergone unsuccessful therapy
• who show low motivation and acceptance towards the disease or feel stigmatized by their disease.

But also elderly people and their relatives are often overwhelmed by long-term medication.
